The next day, Aaron made room in his packed schedule to come to my house. The problem was unrelated to the previous repair. It was merely coincidental timing. The digital thermostat had broken. Aaron warranted the part and gave me a new thermostat absolutely free and no charge on the emergency service call. This tells you everything you need to know about Air Waves. 1) They have a good attitude always. 2) They respond to your needs quickly and with care. 3) On this one, they took the hit merely because the appearance was they may have caused the problem. 4) They didn't defend themselves or make me feel bad for the grumpy message. 5) They fixed my problem. Fantastic decision to call Air Waves for a 2nd opinion for my pool heat pump issues!! Very knowledgable about Florida Heat Pumps, and fast service. Had a entire new AC installed in 1 day and helped with several thermostat issues that were not included in price....update 1/3 Have had nothing but issues with unit since installed, Air Waves has been very friendly been back atleast 5-10 times over the 2/3 years since. I would expect to get over 2/3 year life out of a entire new unit but at this point I'm frustrated enough to get a new unit. Since installation I've had several issues, replaced my water pump which was new and installed by air waves, replaced and fixed leaking pipes, replaced several thermostats and several water valves on the unit. I have a water source heat pump and would never recommend one to anyone, to many moving parts and has had nothing but constant issues. Every time I've called Air Waves they have sent a tech out but once it ran out of the year warranty I started getting charges and for every issue they fixed another went wrong. Came back out and fixed unit happy with service. Thanks

Recently, Aaron Belmudez, with Air Waves Heating & Cooling, went out of his way to visit my home after a very bad storm and when flooding caused access roads to close. He parked and walked to our home. Then, he trudged through mud and dangerous debris to inspect our broken AC unit -- all because he didn't want me and my family to be without cool air during the hot summer months. The tec who showed up; to fix my AC was extremely honest and professional. I did not get the impression, like I was being taken for a ride. The tec wore plastic on his shoes when walking in the home. I would not only use this Company again but would reccomend them anytime. I've been using AirWaves since we moved to Jax Beach. They've done an excellent job of maintaining my AC system, and the few repairs it's needed have always been very reasonably priced. The old system died (air handler was 17 years old!). They tried to fix it, but ended up needing to have the whole system replaced. They didn't charge for trying to repair the old system. They knew my budget and designed a new system to fit it. I'd had a system replaced at a previous home so I knew their price was very reasonable. They're honest and reliable people who seem to be truly concerned about their customers.

Our old system that came with the house wasn't working. Ryan came out to assess it and could repair it but the cost was prohibitive given the unit's age. We were set on a Mitsubishi ductless mini split system. Airwaves gave us the best quote by far and were able to work around some installation challenges. The ductless mini splits are more costly but are super quiet and highly efficient, time will tell if we recoup the initial investment but we certainly like its performance. Very professional and personable group!
